Book a Make Up Lesson

Missed a Swim Tangaroa lesson due to sickness or injury? Book your make-up lesson to ensure you or your child continue to progress your swimming skills.

Make up lessons are based on availability for the students current level. Remember to let us know in advance if you cannot make it to a weekly lesson, to be eligible for a make-up lesson.

Suspend my Membership

Heading on holidays or looking to just take a break, suspending your membership is easy via our Active World membership app. See the how to steps in our guide below.

Suspension conditions: All memberships can be placed on suspension for a one off $7 admin fee and for a minimum 1 week and a maximum 3 months within a 12 month period. At least 1 days notice is required.

For Swim Tangaroa lessons, of these 3 months, a maximum of 4 weeks can be used per term.

If you are suspending your membership due to medical reasons, please submit a Medical Suspension Request form and attach your Medical Certificate for our staff to help you place your membership on hold for $0.

Cancel my Membership

We are sorry to see you are looking to cancel your direct debit membership with us at Trust House Recreation Centre.

We have removed the hurdles to cancelling your membership, simply fill out the Cancellation Request Form below.

Cancellation conditions: A 7 days notice period is required on all memberships. You will continue to have access to our venue until your 7 days have ended.

Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to make-up lessons.

  • A maximum of four makeup lessons (for sickness and injury only) are available per student, per calendar year.
  • All makeup lessons must be booked by contacting our Swim Tangaroa office.
  • Lessons that you are unable to attend due to sickness or injury and wish to book a makeup lesson for must be marked absent a minimum of 2 hours prior to the start of class time.
  • If you do not notify us of your absence, no make-up lessons will be offered.
  • Credits will not be added for make-up lessons at any time.

Medical Suspensions
If you are suspending your membership due to medical reasons, you may be eligible for the $7 one off fee to be waived. You will need to provide a medical certificate, and requests will be managed on a case-by-case basis.
